I'm an ML researcher and AI engineer who turns ideas into working systems — from peer-reviewed multi-agent research to ML that ships. President's Scholar · Dean's List.
I'm Sara Xian. I ship machine-learning systems with Python, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn, and I'm completing a B.S. in Computer Science at SJSU (expected December 2026) as a President's Scholar (GPA 3.918).
Through the HSI-STEM summer research program, I co-authored two peer-reviewed papers on intelligent multi-agent microgrids — a journal article in Smart Grid and Renewable Energy and a paper at IEEE CSCE 2023— advancing coordinated renewable-energy forecasting and agent-based control for next-generation grids. I also built a faculty records platform that handles create, read, update, and delete workflows on SQLite, with a clean separation between the UI, business logic, and data layer.
I'm proficient in Python, with experience in Java, C/C++, and SQL, and I work with TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and Pandas. I'm looking toward machine learning engineering roles — building reproducible training and evaluation pipelines in the Bay Area.
